Pretty pusher

I'm in a bit of funk these days and am trying to push it all away by making pretty things. This time of year is stressful for me, as I am sure it is for many of you. Stressful for different reasons, but stressful nonetheless.

I listed a bunch of lovely things in my shop today. I am particularly fond of the flower brooch above. :)

And I am pretty certain that these earrings are the most perfect earrings for the holiday season. I mean, the snowflake design, the red and green glaze that came out superbly... what more could you want? (A million dollars, yes. A new car, I know. Five days of uninterrupted sleep, uh huh. For now, let's just stick with the earrings. :)

I really do love that flower. Would it make a good pendant with a bail? I think so! I am already having a vision of how it would work! Thanks for sharing, and I hope that you can find time to slow down, reconnect and reflect in this season of light. Enjoy the day! Erin

I was in funk recently as well and it really isn't fun. I hope you feel brighter soon.

everything is really great - and i am sorry you are in a funk... hope the light shines in soon... i can see that brooch as a large ring (ok, i don't really know how large it is)... with the flat part across the knuckles so it doesn't bump around when fingers are bending... it is beautiful... as are those perfect earrings!

Hehe - I think we could all use an extra million dollars but, I agree, sometimes its better to focus on the little things we want... and can actually have. Lovely work, especially the star necklace - simple and yet it makes a bold statement with that glaze.

Happy crafting and take it easy, the holidays should (in theory) be relaxing =)
