God is in the details
On Saturday I found myself with some time on my hands. The weather was unbelievably mild and I was near Lodi Point on Seneca Lake. So that's where I went. I had the place to myself. It was a perfect day.
The sun shone brightly and the sky was emerald blue. (That's an extra special blue only visible on perfect days.)
This lake is enchanted. Of this, I am sure.
The ghost version of me posed with the ghost version of a tree.
Treasures are hidden within these piles of rocks.
Rock candy.
I found beauty in everything.
These shores gave me hours of quiet adventure.
Found treasure!
Water-worn bones, rocks and walnuts...
Smooth brick, flat black stones, rusted metal and crab claws...
Old pottery shards, striped rocks and beach glass...
It was a perfect day. In every way.

Thanks for the vent.

I grew up on Lake Geneva WI. and it still calls to me. There is just something about the sounds of the water and wind on a lake. I miss it so much.
Enjoy the day!

With the weather being 65 here (so warm for January!) we took the little people to the beach here in DE and spent a glorious hour with our toes in the sand collecting treasures as well...
Must've been the thing to do that day - the air must've been carrying songs from the water calling us to it...
Thanks for sharing your wonderful day and treasures!

I love seeing all your amazing finds, but I'm also a bit jealous that you have a wonderful shoreline which holds such lovely treasures.
