Finding (a) closure

If you haven't already seen this fabulous blog, do be sure to check out Objects and Elements. It is written by a Dream Team of jewelry designers and although it is fairly new it promises to be a constant source of inspiration.

This month they had their first Reader Challenge and I happened to stumble upon it just in the nick of time. The theme was closures so I set off like a freak to come up with a clever clasp in very little time. Thankfully this toggle idea came to me and ended up working just as I hoped it would. (That is NOT always the case, trust me.) I started with a beautiful bead by Blue Seraphim and crammed some sterling silver wire through the center. A little torch action, a few balled up ends and there you have it!
