Beautiful decay

I spent some time yesterday visiting with my father and his wife in Elmira, NY. We took a trip to the local cemetery to visit the grave of Mark Twain. It was such a beautiful cemetery with so many incredible gravestones and there I was without my camera. I had to make do with my cell phone.

really great shots! i always find cemeteries to be so moving... and the thoughts set in stone, the architecture and art to be thought provoking...

That first shot is incredible; I've never seen a portrait like that on an old stone and the weathering adds so much.
