I went crazy with the fancy beads this week! Not only did I make a lot, I made myself go a little nuts trying to get them all done in time for Friday's update. The fancier the bead the more time they take, thus my frazzled demeanor.

First up are some snazzy shadowbox beads (above). I tried a new shape and am quite pleased with the look. I especially love the when you flip it over and see the secret niche in the back. It has the look of an antique picture frame and I gave the sides and back my grungy-look glaze treatment to complete the effect.

Round printed pendants! I can't enough of pairing pretty traditional patterns with embossed and stamped designs.

And here is a close-up of one of the pendants.

These are chunky hollow double sided beads with a sweet heart design.

I really love these stylized modern bird pendants! Very mod and colorful.

And back by popular demand I made more of the Asian Wave hollow beads from the last update.

Here are some smaller shadowbox beads. They look like sweet little candies (that could break your teeth) with a secret hiding place in the back.

Lastly, I made some exotic elephants. They are layered pendants with lots of color and texture. A great focal!

Oh my SWOON! Miss Nancy, I am still fondling the niche pendant that I got from you and wondering how to do it justice. I just love the new shape. Very Victorian for secret lover's messages! And those patchwork quilt patterned pendants are really quite delightful. You have done it again! Enjoy the day! Erin
