My sweet Laurel bunny passed away this week. It has been a very difficult past several weeks as I watched her get weaker all the while doing everything I could to make her better. Nothing worked in the end. It's been hard to get through the week and do the work I still needed to do. I miss her. She was a big presence in this house, the top bunny. The one who knew the sound of carrots being chopped for dinner. The one who ran through any open door, excited to see what was on the other side. The one who sat by my feet every morning as I ate breakfast.
I miss her.

Dear Nancy, I am so sorry - I understand what you are going to after losing Max cat in March - they stay in your thoughts every day, and it is so hard to miss them without pain in your heart.

I am so sorry Nancy. I've just brought my Millie cat home after taking her in for an emergency appointment last night. It's either her heart or a tumour in her chest or both, so we've got a couple of months to spoil her rotten. Big hugs to you.

So sorry for your loss. They are such gifts to us - but never with us long enough.
So sorry Nancy. One of my Mum's darling cats had to be put to sleep last night after a very sudden and unexpected illness. We lost two rabbits this year, and so I know the heart break you are going through. I hope you have friends - furry and otherwise - around you to help and support you. It is just one of the hardest things to go through in life. Hugs. x x x
