Time for a giveaway! Woo-hoo!

Round Rabbit Ceramic Bracelet

I've been feeling extremely thankful these days. Thankful for the help I received after the flood. Thankful for having such wonderful friends who look after me. Thankful for having a wonderful man in my life who makes me feel like the most important person on the planet. Thankful for my loyal and new customers who continue to support me even after months of absence. For the first time in a long time I feel content and grounded. So what should I do with all this sicky sweet happy happy joy joy? Have a giveaway! Hell yes!

Round Rabbit Ceramic Bracelet

I made this bracelet this morning in a mad fury of inspiration. I love it when that happens. I think this is a design I will continue so I thought it would be fun to offer the very first one as a giveaway.

Round Rabbit Ceramic Bracelet

It has all kinds of fun things going on, starting with the oak leaf porcelain focal I made in my last Extra batch. I attached some leather cord and threaded one of my faceted beads on it along with some super chunky jump rings to slide around.

Round Rabbit Ceramic Bracelet

I crimped the leather with a small piece of copper pipe/tube that can be found at your local hardware store. It comes in a coil and can be cut with a normal pipe cutter. I threaded all the leather cord through and just flattened the copper until it was tight. Works like a charm! Also included on this piece is one of my little porcelain hearts, a beautiful lampwork headpin by my friend Kelley of Kelley's Bead Studio, and a sweet little ceramic bead by one of my heroes, Elaine Ray.

Sooooo, how can you enter this giveaway, you ask? It's easy! Just leave a comment on this post and tell me what your favorite color is. Be precise! None of this "my favorite color is blue." I want specifics! "My favorite color is deep sea at sunrise blue!" OK, I'm kind of kidding about the favorite color (not really, I actually want to know). Just leave a comment and on MONDAY, December 19th at noon I will draw a winner. And please feel free to spread the word! I feel like I've been totally out of the loop these past few months and would love to have some new blog readers so please share the link to this post with any and all, on your blogs or on your Facebook wall. I would continue to be the big old sappy, grateful pile of misty-eyed goo that I am today! :)

Small print: This bracelet measures 7 3/4" in length. This contest is open to every single person on the planet. Even the married ones. :)

My favorite color is someting that the Crayola company refers to as "Jazzberry Jam." Yes it has a fabulously fun name, but it's a great color too! Somewhere between purple and fuschia :-)
And your oak leaves are one of my favorite pieces so far so...I am entering your giveaway! YAY!! :-)

So glad you are back doing what you love! You really wanna know what my favorite color is? It's the color of my honda civic...Fiji Blue. It's this bright, yet rich shade of blue. I'll be so sad to see that Fiji Blue Honda go next year when I get an SUV. Maybe I can find one in Fiji Blue!

Your mood is infectious! :) Thinking of colors gets me smiling, as I've been immersed in colors while fire painting today (torch on copper). My favorite colors of today were a brilliant yellow turned orange turned mossy green turned sunrise red...

Your bracelet is really wonderful - and I would love to win! My favorite color these days is the clear, bright turquoise of the ocean near a warm tropical island where the sand is white and soft and the sun is bright and warm. Too specific? :-)

I'm not sure I can describe my favorite color to a tee. It's that real light pale bluish greenish color that is on my studio walls right now. It's like the most perfect serene aqua blue that you might see on a summer day. I just love it. And this bracelet rocks. and you rock too. you sap.

What a beautiful bracelet! I would LOVE to win this piece! I'm glad that you are so happy!! I don't know that I have a favorite color, but I love black (jet black, not blue-black), but I also love red (vibrant cherry red) & silver sage (restoration hardware paint color), & copper, and, and, and...
Oh, I am so lucky to see glorious colors everywhere I look! It would be impossible to pick a favorite. I love the inspiration of color combinations from fellow jewelry artists! Beautiful bracelet, Nancy! And gloriously photographed! Happy to hear you're doing so well!
You made this wonderful bracelet for me, right? :) My favorite color is turquoise, a deep turquoise that almost wants to be teal. Or is my favorite color a teal that almost wants to be turquoise??? lol ;)

This bracelet is bee-u-tee-ous! You came up with a winner here.

Tough to choose one color but I guess I'd go with purple. In the movie, "Something's Gotta Give", there is a shade of purple in the horizon of the beach shots that is beautiful. It's either that or the combo of sky, sea and sand that does it for me.

I don't think I have one favorite color. I love the colors of autumn...the reds, golds, oranges. It's my favorite time of year! The gold leaf in your bracelet really caught my eye. I love most everything you make but often think it would be too fancy for me. I would wear this bracelet everywhere, though! I love the different materials, textures and colors. If I don't win it, I'd like to buy one just like it. It's perfection!

I love your new bracelet! What a great mix of colors and shapes.

My favorite color is a light, sea blue - like a pale aquamarine. We just painted my daughter's room that color and I love it.
My favorite color is usually purple, deep rich grape purple, but lately I've been drawn to sunset colors. Especially corals. But I think a deep rich purple still wins out!

My favorite color is pinkish purple. I guess a shade of lilac.

I love the deep green blues of the sea as the sun hits it from above. I love the fall leaves as they turn to rich colors of gold and red blazing and blowing in the wind.
I love the starkness of winter against the swirling skies, as if I am standing in a black and white photo and there is no color.
I love the deep emotional strength of life....
so happy you are back Nancy, my favorite color is pink. Every shade of pink.

That bracelet is gorgeous! I'm so happy I was able to purchase a few components on Monday-I recieved them today, and they are beautiful as well. :) My favorite color seems to change minute to minute--but today it seems I'm drawn to lots of shades of blues. Especially aqua-type blues, and deep blues, the deep dark blue that I see in the sunset most nights around here. :)

My favorite color is electric blue or fuchsia. Glad you are doing well!
Love the bracelet design! My favorite glazes are the translucent ones that cover the porcelain that had the black (oxide, underglaze) applied under and wiped off. The depth of those pieces is just amazing. I am especially drawn to your teal turquoise blue glazes. But then again - I'm a fellow texture and color freak as well :)

Glad to see you back into the swing of things! Can't wait to see where this path takes you and your work...

An by the way, your design here is gorgeous. Makes me wish I'd bought a leaf or two as well!
You know... that is a funny question. If you had asked me six months ago what my favorite color was, I would have said the grey-blue of the Pacific Ocean where I grew up... and that is still towards the top of my list. But I have grown to find that I love reds and oranges now... fiery colors... flame colors... crimsons and burgundies spun with rich deep oranges... hmm, there I go rambling!

I like the color grey, the dark slate grey. The color of the sky during a storm.

Blessings to you!

Thank you for offering the contest! It’s so hard to pick one color, so I will say the blue family, leaning towards cerulean. Why? It reminds me of the sky, the ocean, sea glass and in general is very soothing.
