Extra Shop Update on MONDAY!!

Birds! Porcelain pendants

I will be having an Extra shop update on Monday starting at noon!
First up are these large birds. I've been using this piece in my own work for a while and it is safe to say that they are one of my favorites. They are big and bold and the kind of birds that says, "Are you talkin' to me?" Whatever that means...
If you would like to see some examples of these birds in action take a look here, here and here. (note: the dark green bird tried to make a run for it and broke his tail feathers, so he won't be able to make it to the party, sadly...)

Porcelain jewelry components

These are some fun connector type links with a stylized dandelion design.

Lizard skin porcelain components

I really love how the lizard skin pieces came out. The detail is fantastic and gives them a rather unusual look, especially with the wonky holes.

Porcelain jewelry components

Nor sure what to call these pendants.... fan leaf? Yep, that will have to do.

Stenciled porcelain components

Here are some of the pieces from my stencil experiment. They turned out pretty cool, though the black slip did not stay as black as I would have liked. I will be mixing up another recipe and giving that a go the next time. But I really like the faded, antique look of this batch, so it was well worth the experiment.

Porcelain pod beads

And lastly we have the nightlight pod beads. I didn't glaze them all because I had no idea how they would turn out and didn't want to ruin them all at once if they looked like crap. But guess what?! They look freaking awesome!!!! Good enough to eat, I say. There are two smaller hollow beads there as well that are pretty cool, too.

So that's that. The update will start at noon EST on Monday in the shop, which is right here. And don't forget, you can see everything as it is listed if you check out my Facebook page. Hope to see you then! :)

Yum yum! Everything is gorgeous! I'm particularly digging the rusty pod at the bottom. It's divine!
I love the fan leaf design, but I think they look like some kind of evergreen tree branch...I would call them evergreen!

The fan leaf design looks a lot like a papyrus plant!

Lizard skin ones are amazing and I am a sucker for any kind of hollow bead....:)
They all look great but I love the pods!
YUM! Loving those pod beads! Especially the matte ones! Nice collection for a Clay Rock Star - seldom studio slacker… I've been so out of the studio and in the garden for the last month. My clay is calling me, and I have a feeling it's going to start yelling quite soon… Great Work Nancy!!!

Oh how I love the rectangular links, the lizard skin connectors, and the fan leaf pendants! I want some! But I suppose I'll be teaching when you post these tomorrow. :(
Very cool, Nancy. The pendants in the 4th picture look like the picture in your May 5th post!
