Here, look at some really dark photos!

Last Friday night was the Lights on the River event in my little town of Owego, NY. (not to be confused with Oswego). It was very very very very cold. So... I walked up the street, took a photo of the horses...

...took a quick stroll on the River Walk and looked at the bridge all light up with holiday lights...

...and took some very dark photos. I then bellied up the local bar and warmed myself with some vodka and cranberry with some friends.

I did my last show of the year this past weekend. The highlight for sure was finally getting to meet Erin Siegel in person. We have been "cyber friends" for years so it was such a treat when Lorelei brought her by on their way to the airport. We had had some fun the night before chatting on Skype so we felt like old friends by the time we met in person. Yay for meeting new/old friends!!

Now that I am done with my shows for the year I plan on sleeping straight through until March. I know it's never been done before, but I plan on giving it the old college try. I've got some new PJs and an electric blanket and I am good to go. Nighty night! )

Haha! Funny gal, you are, Miss Lisa.

Owego is muuuuuch better than Oswego! In fact, it was voted the Coolest Small Town in the US. Really! And, we get way less snow than Oswego. So there. :)

You are a fun gal and a loyal friend! I can see now why Lorelei adores you so much! It was so great talking with you on Skype and then meeting you on Sunday! I can't believe that 3 years ago, I was just some lurker on your blog! LOL! Love my earrings, by the way! They had an adventure at the airport. My ditsy scatter brain left them at security and they got announced over the PA! hehe!

I have a heated mattress pad and it is used a good 8 months out of the year. I'd have to have that AND at least one electric blanket if not two on top if I lived in your cold!
